Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The trek typically starts from Nayapul, following the Ghorepani Trek route through Pokhara. We pass through Tikhedunga and Ghorepani's Poon Hill to witness the mesmerizing sunrise. Then, we retrace our steps to Tadapani. Poon Hill provides the best sunrise views and stunning mountain scenery.

From Tadapani, we head to Chhomrong and then venture into the Annapurna Sanctuary, continuing to Annapurna Base Camp through Dovan and Deurali. The trail leads through dense rhododendron and bamboo forests. This region is rich in natural beauty and wildlife, featuring various rhododendron species, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and over 450 bird species. Don't miss the rejuvenating natural hot spring of Jhinu.

After reaching Pothana on our ABC trek, we return to Pokhara from Phedi.

Best Time for Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp is possible during the year, however the best time for ABC trek is spring and autumn season.

The Annapurna region offers stunning beauty, massive mountains, charming villages, warmer temperatures, and rejuvenating hot springs. Prepare adequately for the trek as it involves many ups and downs.

Two Major Trekking Seasons

Pre-Monsoon Season (February to May):

Ideal for trekking with pleasant weather.

Post-Monsoon Season (Late September to December):

Another great option for trekking, especially in late September, October, November, or December.

Enjoy breathtaking mountain views on this magical journey by choosing our best itinerary, carefully developed over years.

Right Month for ABC Trek

For an unforgettable trek to the Annapurna Sanctuary, choosing the right month is crucial. We recommend February, March, April, October, November, or December.

Trekking in January is possible but expect colder conditions, especially at higher elevations (-10°C to -15°C or 14°F to 5°F). Be prepared for potential snowfall.

Remember, snow can occur at any time of the year, so warmer gear is a must if you trek in winter months, with more challenging weather conditions.

A Memorable Trekking in ABC

This is my first time and went alone with ABC. i was always dreamt about hiking in Himalaya mountain, i was worried as I had no experience with high altitudes. My guide Manish looked after me very carefully because I got back pain during the 11 days trekking. He is an experienced guide who knows the region very well. He did a great job at scheduling the daily trek and adapting the length and speed of trekking to my personal needs and desires. Luckily I had no high altitude sick and completed the whole journey with my back pain, I must say that Manish gave me an unforgettable journey, he made the trip fun and always making me laugh. After eleven days in the remoteness of the Mountain my guide has become a friends Especially Tolka is the best one I like to stay, the lodge owner is nice and she made the curry chicken is the best in ABC. I took very nice milky way photo during my trip here Thank you Hari again for planning and a great guide to help me on all my need, so I must dedicate all our time to watch and took nice photo of the wonderful landscapes and enjoy all the trip.

Absolute experience of lifetime

Dear Hari, Thank you so much for organizing our trek to ABC in late September. For me it was the absolute experience of lifetime and I am sure that I will be coming back again to your wonderful country this time with my family to spend more time. Whilst the trek itself was spectacular I believe that a major part of our experience was the great friendship and care shown to us by our guide K.B and the porters. These guys were simply the best and added to our trip with their sense of fun and fantastic service. Having a guide, put a whole different perspective on our trip , as everywhere we went along the way we were made to feel part of a bigger group when we met other guides and porters.…………………… Once again I would like to thank you for organizing our trek for us and would highly recommended Life Dream Adventure to anyone looking to have an experience of a life time.

Fantastic Annapurna Base Camp and Chitwan Jungle Safari

Fantastic 11 day trek through some wonderful scenery and landscape. A brilliant way to meet a Nepali and also some Tibetans. We were very well looked after by our guide, OB and porter Shyam. Always the best rooms and food in the teahouses. For someone whose only experience is golf, OB make sure the pace was just right for me ! We had a great fun, singing and dancing on some evenings. Chitwan - Again a brilliant experience. Saw lots of animals and birds, including a bear. Bathing with the elephant cannot be missed. Jungle activities were catered to meet our interests. We shall be recommending Life Dream Adventure to our friends back home. If you're reading this and not too certain of going on a trek - Don't hesitate, go for it. You will be well cared for and looked after. Many thanks to all and in particular OB and Shya.

Awesome adventure, made easy by an amazing company

I have just completed Annapurna Base Camp Trek with my collages. Thanks to Hari Bhatta for bringing his team, Shiva and 2 porters. I am grateful that they pay attention to every single detail and assist me to complete the trek without any problems. They have been very motivating as the trek was moderately difficult to me and of course that are not quite fit in physical fitness, because there are lots of stairs and walking. Mr. Hari is very experienced in this field and he is very trustworthy. I will definitely consider his other trekking packages for vacation plans. We highly recommend Life Dream Adventure.
